ĀmnāyaTech
We’re a small team in Kathmandu building careful, humane technology for the human sciences — psychology, wellbeing, learning, and research. Quiet work, made to last.
About
ĀmnāyaTech is a small team working where the human sciences meet software. We started because the tools for psychology, education, and research here in Nepal deserved more care than they were getting.
Our name comes from Āmnāya: a living stream of knowledge passed down through generations. That idea shapes how we build — patiently, with respect for the people and the practice on the other side of the screen.
We’re not chasing hype. We’d rather make a few things well: honest, safe, and dependable enough that people can trust them with work that genuinely matters.
Our work
A small, deliberate scope — the areas we keep coming back to. We’re keeping specifics under wraps for now; if something here sounds like your world, we’d love to hear from you.
Understanding people without flattening the nuance.
Helping knowledge travel further, in the right language.
The quiet systems an organization actually runs on.
Fast, dependable software for the open web.
Curiosity, held to a research-grade standard.
Some things are better when they belong to everyone.
How we work
The tools are only half of it. How they’re made — and who they’re made with — matters just as much to us.
We sit with the practitioners, teachers, and researchers who’ll actually use what we make.
Open tools and open notes, so good work doesn’t stay locked away.
Mental health isn’t a side topic for us — it’s woven into how we think and what we choose to build.
Contact
Tell us what you’re working on, or just introduce yourself. We read every message and reply like humans — usually within a few days.
